You will surely not miss out on Grizzly’s shops when on the hunt for used vintage clothing in Japan – they’re just everywhere and has multiple stores all over the trendy fashion hubs of Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. They have two stores in Harajuku and a whopping five stores in Shimokitazawa alone. In Osaka’s trendy Amemura district, they have a total of four Grizzly stores.

Why are there so many Grizzly stores in Harajuku, Shimokitazawa, and Amemura though? Not sure about that, but given the fact that these three unique areas are all fashion-centric hubs, it just makes sense. Grizzly’s got a chokehold on ’em and they’re just everywhere in these places, you’re sure to stumble upon one.

Grizzly (グリズリー) Antiques & Vintage Clothing specializes in used clothing that gives off an 80’s to 90’s vintage vibe – their collection is mix and match and eccentric, you’ll never really know what you’ll get. Of all the vintage stores I have already visited in Japan so far, I’d say that Grizzly has the most fashion for everyday use.

If you’re into statement shirts, they have tons of designs in each store, ranging from merch that was once sold at a popular concert by a popular artist from the olden days to vintage racing or branded merch shirts, you’ll get a good whiff of nostalgia while browsing through their shirt racks. They also have vintage sports and racing jackets, leather and denim jackets, vests, shirts, pants, knits, and accessories – all neatly organized in their no-frills stores.
